Serve these tasty mini pies after a delicious home-cooked Valentine’s Day meal.
Ingredients:
- 4 pack of ready-to-use chocolate crumb mini-pie shells
- 1 1.5 quart container of Pierre’s Black Raspberry Chip Ice Cream
- 1 1.5 quart container of Pierre’s Chocolate Ice Cream
- Your favorite ice cream toppings
Freeze crusts for 30 minutes before filling. Slightly soften the ice cream in the refrigerator before scooping (about 10 – 20 minutes). Place a scoop of each ice cream flavor into each pie shell; use a rubber spatula to flatten and smooth. Return crusts to freezer for 10 minutes. Before serving, allow pies to soften for five minutes at room temperature for best flavor and texture. For fun, decorate each with your sweetie’s favorite ice cream toppings, like chocolate syrup or whipped cream sprinkled with mini chocolate chips.
