Popcorn! Peanuts! Pierre’s Ice Cream … Playoff Baseball!

Everyone here is excited to watch the Cleveland Indians battle Toronto for the American League Championship! As the series gets underway, here’s hoping there are many fun and memorable moments to experience in the days ahead.

No doubt, you’re preparing to cheer the Tribe from your comfy seat at home or – if you are one of the lucky fans to score a ticket – at Progressive Field. In the spirit of the postseason … we gathered together some fun ways to make watching each game extra special while enjoying the Official Ice Cream of the Cleveland Indians … Pierre’s Ice Cream!

Party Time

We love watch parties, especially watch parties with ice cream! Ice cream floats are easy to make on the spot and are delicious as well. For fun, create them in Tribe colors with cherry pop and Pierre’s Classic Vanilla Premium Ice Cream.

How about an ice cream salsa? Yes! There is such a thing as ice cream salsa, and it’s very good … especially this family recipe called Not Your Momma’s Salsa. Trust us. This recipe is so yummy, it made the final round of the 2015 Tri-C Culinary Arts School’s Pierre’s Ice Cream Challenge.

Nun Better® Snickerdoodle

For years, the Sisters of the Holy Spirit would deliver batches of their homemade cookies to the Cleveland Indians. Pierre’s Signature Nun Better® Snickerdoodle is divinely inspired by the sisters’ cookies and a great flavor to enjoy during the game or any other time!

Ice Cream Mojo

Superstition is as much a part of baseball as is stealing bases, double plays and the seventh inning stretch. Though the Tribe is doing pretty well so far, a little luck goes a long way.

Do you have a lucky flavor? Maybe it’s two, like one scoop of Extreme Moose Tracks and one scoop of Chocolate Chip topped with warm caramel and salted peanuts enjoyed during the third inning of every game of the Boston series? Well, we swept them didn’t we?

Hometown Flavor

There’s lots to celebrate about Cleveland! This year, we got to see American Hockey League Calder Cup return to Cleveland for the first time in 52 years. The Cavaliers won the NBA title for the first time ever. And the entire world focused its attention on Cleveland as the Republican National Convention came to town.

With all the amazing things going on, perhaps the best flavors to enjoy while cheering our Indians are those that celebrate a taste of hometown! Sundae at the Museum is a delicious tribute to the Cleveland Museum of Art and its 2016 centennial. Emerald Necklace celebrates the Cleveland Metroparks!

Go Tribe!
