Sunday, July 18 is National Ice Cream Day! Join us in saluting this most wonderful treat … the official treat of summer.
President Ronald Reagan proclaimed National Ice Cream Day in 1984. The holiday falls on the third Sunday in July, National Ice Cream Month!
We encourage all to celebrate with “appropriate ceremonies and activities”! Here are some we have in mind:
- Make sundaes;
- Stack a triple-scoop ice cream cone;
- Pass out ice cream sandwiches;
- Share some milkshakes;
- Serve a round of ice cream sodas.
