Ice cream pies are fun, delicious and easy. Our classic Pierre’s Pumpkin Ice Cream Pie is one of our favorites in the fall and holiday seasons, but ice cream pies can be made from any flavor … or flavors!
For the holidays, enjoy a slice of this Peppermint Stick Pie made using Pierre’s Peppermint Stick Ice Cream!
- 1 – ready-made chocolate pie crust
- 1 – 1.5 quart container of Pierre’s Peppermint Stick Ice Cream
- Candy canes
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream
- Decorative sugar sprinkles
- Maraschino cherries
Remove ice cream from freezer and let it soften at room temperature for about 5-10 minutes … or just long enough until it is easy to scoop and spread into the pie crust. Do not thaw ice cream for too long or else it will crystallize when refrozen. Scoop the ice cream into the pie crust and smooth it out. Cover with foil and return to the freezer to harden. Keep pie covered until ready to serve. When you are ready to serve, decorate your pie however you wish … chocolate sauce, whipped cream, sprinkles, cherries and candy canes … crushed or whole … and enjoy!
